Big Pink

You might be forgiven for noticing that I quite like experimenting with a slab serif now and then. There was Postino that I did for that Adobe (no link, can’t have you wandering off to the supermarket when we are having such a nice time in the delicatessen), then there is Cowgirl, on here, and probably some others not yet seen. These letters try to combine some atypical features like unexpected heavinesses, deep inner crotch cuts and strokes that are curved on one side, and flat on the other. Big Pink takes its name from a house used as a recording studio by Bob Dylan and The Band, and furthermore by a large garage at the end of my garden, which I painted pink after a few too many sweet sherrys. I would like to say more, but I have to put salient comments in a newsletter (sign up here), and I don't want them to seem repetitive. At least I am thinking of these with my own brain and typing them with my own fingers, no AI was used.
